We booked this hotel 4 months ago, just going by the reviews. As far as we are concerned, this place is great! Jimmy (the chef), Steven (the food and beverage manager) and the bartender(sorry we didn’t catch his name) at the Hunter Tavern were fantastic. All so accommodating!!! The food was delicious and the wine was tasty!!! We would definitely stay here again!!! Also thanks for the breakfast Jimmy, it lasted two mornings!!!
My husband, son, and best friend came for a quick two night stay to celebrate a birthday. The adults loved the fire pit and the service was fantastic. We asked for a fire and it was ready for us to enjoy once we finished dinner. The bar had fantastic cocktails and the bar tender was personable and funny. Even with an unexpected snowstorm, there was plenty to do in and around the lodge. Cozy, cute, and a great atmosphere! We WILL be back.
